Status: Permanent Full-Time (35 hours per week)

Salary: $122,577 - $134,851 + 11% superannuation + leaseback vehicle/sustainability allowance

Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. Our Community Development Team is seeking a Coordinator Community Connection.

Purpose:

The Coordinator Community Connection provides leadership in the consultation, planning and delivery of strategies, partnerships and projects that enable positive social change. The role liaises with social service providers and government agencies to develop effective partnerships and collaborative practices to ensure the best outcomes for disadvantaged and vulnerable communities.

About the role:

  • Manage the Community Connections team to implement programs and partnerships
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of Council's community development projects and services
  • Develop annual team budgets, operational plans and related reporting requirements

About you:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences or related discipline, together with relevant work experience in the community services sector, or extensive work experience in the community services sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership and management of staff within the community sector
  • Proven experience in identifying community needs and developing community initiatives, partnerships, programs and projects
